About AMX530
The AMX530 scan tool is a versatile device designed to read diagnostic data from vehicle controllers compatible with the OBDII, EOBD or JOBD. The AMX530 supports ALL possible communication protocols: SAE J1850 PWM/VPW, ISO 9141, ISO 14230 (Keyword 2000), and ISO 15765 (CAN). The AMX530 diagnostic set is provided with an interface to a PC (version with the RS232 or USB connector) and specialized software application (demo version downloadable
here). The AMX530 fully complies with the valid SAEJ1978 standard, which defines properties and functions of an OBDII diagnostic scanner.

| TECHNOLOGY: The AMX530 interface is made using SMD circuit technology. The SMD components are installed with the use of specialized machinery. Additionally, each final product passes through a series of tests and quality control assurance tests before it teaches the end customer. The quality control process among other tests includes the thermal and mechanical resilience tests. Finally, the last stage of quality control uses a proprietary OBDII/EOBD system simulator to accurately assess the AMX530 scan tool's operation. |

Specifications
The AMX530 design is based on an up-to-date single-chip micro-controller and specialized additional circuits enabling the device to support all the OBDII / EOBD communication standards. To connect the device to a PC, the AMX530 is equipped with one of two communication interfaces common in modern and older PCs: it can be purchased with either the RS232 or USB 1.1 compatible interface. The AMX530 software application is designed to work on PC running under the following operating systems: Windows 98, Me, 2000, XP - with hardware requirements typical for the respective system. To connect to the AMX530, the PC must have one unoccupied serial RS232 (COM) or USB connector. Additionally, it must have Internet Explorer 5.0 or later installed.

Accessories
 | Extension cord. It can be used to extend the diagnostic cord between the diagnostic link connector and the AMX530 scan tool. The extension cord has a plug at one end and at the other, a socket connector compliant with the SAE J1962 specifications regarding OBDII connectors. The extension cord is 3 or 5 m long. |
