The AMX 212PT is a versatile module for acquiring pressure and temperature values in a testing bed environment. It can be easily connected to a wide range of temperature and pressure sensors equipped with outlets of standard voltage (0-10V or 0-5V) or current (4 - 20mA). One AMX 212PT module can be connected up to eight input sources with analogue outlets and one measurement input source equipped with a tensometric sensor. A unit adopting the signal from the strain sensor is included inside the module.

Each AMX 212PT module comes with a tensometric sensor of atmospheric pressure. The standard AMX 212PT also features two 5-digit LED displays that can be used to display values retrieved from any of the connected input sources. On either of the LED displays you can view any number of measurements. Configuration settings and operation commands are introduced with the help of the operator's keyboard. The number of the displays on the device is extendable (it supports the maximum of 8 LED displays) for more convenient presentation of results.

Additionally, the AMX 212PT module can be used to control eight actuators simultaneously. These may include:

• various electromagnetic valves controlling the operation of the engine's cooling system;
• contactors that activate additional devices (motors, ventilators, indicators, etc.).

The AMX 212PT module can also check whether the status of an examined actuator conforms to an expected value. The verification procedure compares the feedback signal obtained from the actuator in question in the form of any naturally closed and opened contactors against the currently presented value. Any discrepancy between these two signals is indicated on the LED display by an appropriate message, or signaled by a specific sound, as such discrepancy can directly affect the engine's performance.
